About Copra

COPRA was founded in 1981 to provide a business focus for retail buyers in the beauty and perfume industries. Way back then, the primary retail market for beauty was the more traditional store and duty free, but this has now shifted to the online landscape with retailers now making the most of the web and social media to sell their products.

COPRA is a not-for-profit members organisation with a number of key goals – including fostering relationships between suppliers and retailers from the world’s leading brands in a fast moving and evolving market place. COPRA dedicates all it’s fundraising to the industry charity, ‘Look good, feel better’.

Based in London, COPRA offers its members a number of invaluable benefits and opportunities to meet and learn from key beauty influencers in the industry. Holding regular meetings and training courses lead by industry experts provide members with the knowledge and skills to develop customer-focused strategies and stay informed. Our informative and industry-leading networking events provide members with opportunities to learn learn and connect. The industry highlights of the year are the fabulous COPRA luncheon and ball. Most importantly, COPRA acts as a voice for the development and well-being of retailing in cosmetics and perfumery in the UK.
