This year’s COPRA Lunch, which many of tonight’s guests will have attended, was held at The Dorchester in London’s Mayfair. Among the Lunch’s highlights was the presentation of the coveted COPRA Awards. The Awards are voted for by top retail buyers who base their judgments on each product’s sales over the previous year, making them some of the most important in the industry. The Gordon Whitehead Award, for personal contribution to the beauty industry, was also awarded at the event, as was the coveted Suppliers Service Award. COPRA is well known for its fundraising efforts for industry charity, Look Good…Feel Better, and at the lunch COPRA Chairman, Tracy Van Heusden, presented Susan Taylor, Chairman of LGFB, with a cheque for £44,000, the record-breaking amount raised at last year’s COPRA Ball – a record you could help to beat this year!
